The elegance of a properly designed and expertly crafted staircase can be the perfect compliment to the architect's artistic vision.

Modern Manufacturing - Old Fashioned Design and Construction
Timeless Elegance

Harmonson stairs are built the "old fashioned" way. This means that we take precise measurements from the jobsite to ensure a proper fit. Treads and risers are wedged, blocked and glued to minimize squeaks - not just when the stairs are new, but after fifty years of use.

Railings for curved stairs are carved from solid blocks of wood, not bent or laminated. Newel posts and balusters can be made to a customer's design or selected from a wide variety of Harmonson profiles. Stair materials can be chosen from a wide variety of domestic and imported woods that have been carefully selected to insure consistency of appearance. A Harmonson Stair represents a blend of the best of past and present - a modern creation using age-old artistry and craftsmanship.
